Woningstichting Wageningen – interior concept inspired by the city
For the office of Woningstichting Wageningen, SVDH Design created an interior concept that translates the city of Wageningen into the workplace. Recycled terrazzo by The Good Floor forms the connecting foundation of the interior: a circular floor that brings calm to the space and links the various zones together.
Within the interior, work and meeting spaces are designed as small “façades,” inspired by characteristic buildings from the city. This creates a structure that feels like a street: familiar, layered, and intuitive to use.
The subtle color variations in the recycled terrazzo align with the different zones within the design and reinforce the coherence of the interior. The circular composition of the material also fits the sustainable ambitions of the project.
